UNIV Nigeria is an initiative that grew out of the UNIV Forum (an International Conference), with the aim of improving the intellectual and human tone of university students.
The UNIV Conference 2023 was an electrifying event that brought together people from various centers to discuss the theme of “Searching for Happiness” at the prestigious Lagos Business School, Pan-Atlantic University. The conference was graced by distinguished guest speakers, including Professor Fabian Ajogwu, OFR, SAN, Professor Alejo Jose Sison Galsim, and the keynote speaker, Mr. Anthony Oputa, who delivered compelling speeches on what true happiness really means.
The speakers used thought-provoking anecdotes to emphasize that happiness comes from within and not from material possessions. They also emphasized that money is important, but not the only determinant of our happiness. Mr. Oputa’s formula for happiness, which involved loving people, using things, and finding purpose in serving things beyond ourselves, left everyone with a lot to ponder.
Professor Alejo Jose Sison Galsim discussed the ethical use of ChatGPT Technology and its impact on our lives, highlighting the importance of its responsible use.
The conference also featured breakout sessions, where attendees had the opportunity to interact with presenters and ask questions. The presenters, carefully selected from various centers, did an excellent job of shedding light on their assigned topics and providing further insight.
In summary, the UNIV Conference 2023 was an incredibly enlightening and thought-provoking event that left everyone with new knowledge to take home. It was an experience that will be remembered for a long time to come, and one that everyone who attended was grateful for.
