We are pleased to announce that the National Universities Commission (NUC) has approved the launch of three new undergraduate programmes:
- BSc. in Software Engineering,
- BSc. in Data Science, and
- BEng. in Mechatronics Engineering, effective in the 2023–2024 academic session.
The aim of the BSc. in Software Engineering is to provide students with a comprehensive education in the principles, practices, and technologies related to software development and engineering.
The aim of the BSc. in Data Science is to provide students with a comprehensive education in the principles, techniques, and tools involved in the field of data science.
The aim of the BEng. in Mechatronics is to provide students with a comprehensive and integrated education in the principles, theories, and practical applications of mechatronics engineering. Mechatronics combines elements of mechanical engineering, electronics, computer science, and control engineering to design and create intelligent systems and products.
This approval marks a major milestone and underscores our commitment to diverse and impactful education.
