Dr. Patrick Osatohanmwen holds a double Honor B.Sc in Mathematics and Economics, a Master degree in Industrial Mathematics (Statistics) and a PhD in Industrial Mathematics (Mathematical Statistics) all from the University of Benin, Nigeria. He has been a recipient of the University of Benin Scholar Prize also. His areas of research include: Mathematical Statistics, Probability Theory and Financial Econometrics. He has attended several conferences and scientific workshops within and outside Nigeria. He has served as a two time Guest Lecturer/ Resource Person at the Postgraduate training workshop of the Nigerian Statistical Association. He has also been invited as a Resource Person in a workshop on econometric modeling organized by the Department of Statistics, Central Bank of Nigeria, Owerri Branch. He is a member of the Nigerian Statistical Association, Nigerian Mathematical Society and the Statistics Research Group (University of Benin). He has also been at the forefront in the popularization of Probability Distribution Theory in Nigeria and to that effect, he has delivered several workshop lectures. He has authored several articles in both National and International peer-review journals some of which are leading journals in the fields of Mathematics and Statistics.
