Daniel E. OKOJIE received from the University of Lagos (UNILAG), Nigeria; B.Sc. Hons., 1999 in Pure and Applied Physics, PGD, 2005 and M.Sc. 2010 from the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering (DEE). He is an associate engineer (with COREN in view [2024]) and is registered in other engineering and non-engineering professional bodies. In 2020, he completed his Doctorate (PhD: Electrical Power Systems Engineering), DEE, Faculty of Engineering and The Built Environment, Tshwane University of Technology (TUT) Pretoria, South Africa (SA).
Dr. Daniel Esene Okojie had a postdoctoral research fellowship (PDRF) at DEE, TUT, SA; on the feasibility of designing and developing a high torque density wound-field electrical machine for technology localisation.
He has reasonable industrial experience in rural and urban electrification through smart energy management, electrical installations, maintenance, and incorporation of renewable resources in the energy supply mix. Presently is working on a biogas-based project from the United Kingdom (UK) government international grant via the African Agricultural Knowledge Transfer Partnership (AAKTP) scheme by Innovate UK.
He also has extensive academic experience as a lecturer in various institutions of higher learning both nationally and internationally. So far, he has accrued several publications (https://orcid.org/0000-0001-9972-3724) in different aspects of the power systems energy mix. Currently, Dr. Okojie is a Senior Lecturer at Pan-Atlantic University (PAU), Ibeju-Lekki, Lagos, Nigeria.
