The Tech Innovation Club successfully organised its first hackathon on October 26 2024, attracting 120 attendees. This is the first of what will be a yearly event. With the theme “Web3: Rethinking the Future with AI and Blockchain.”, the event showcased innovative solutions from student teams. GeoWise emerged as the winner with their AI-powered Real Estate solution, followed by DVS and EthAI.
A panel of esteemed judges, including Dr. Joshua Osah, Faculty, Pan-Atlantic University, Etienne Okeke, CEO, BitBarter, Akpevwe Egbelughe, Lead Solutions Architect, Dimension Data and David Ewele, Growth Marketing Manager, CloudPlexo provided invaluable insights during the final pitches.
