Q Root Node Request
Pan-Atlantic University (PAU) is a leading private university in
Africa, situated in Lagos. The university has a well-earned
reputation, locally and internationally, as an institution that
provides world-class education in Africa.
The university takes pride in working closely with the industry.
For example, curriculum in the University is developed in close
collaboration with industry leaders as well as professional
bodies. As part of our drive to engage the industry in cutting-edge
technology areas like the blockchain, we at the School of
Science and Technology (SST) of the University wish to execute a Root node on the Q
blockchain.
The philosophy behind Q protocol is particularly attractive as Q combines the benefits of a public, open
and decentralized ledger with the transparency of enforceable private contracts. Participating as a root
node on Q network will give us the opportunity to contribute to the safeguard of its integrity, thus contributing to the security. As an academic institution, the Q blockchain could also
serve us as a platform for innovative research into the Web3 world.

Dr. Onobhayedo is the head of the Computer and Information Sciences department at Pan-Atlantic
University. He represents the university in his execution of a Root node on the Q blockchain.
I understand that I may collect rewards from acting as a root node in the Q system regardless of whether
such rewards may be seen as arising from the Root Node Tokens. In my role as a Root Node, I commit to
accumulating a stake of 250.000 (two hundred and fifty thousand) Q Tokens (the Stake) and subsequently
to maintaining the Stake before using any Q Tokens accumulated in excess of the Stake.
